When I was last organising a public Coderetreat event, the only thing I needed to do was click on a button on this page and add it.

Did this change with the new site? Do I need to have the event reviewed or something?

Hello there.

You can add a new event by clicking the "Add" button on the Events page. Alternatively, you can go directly to this URL: coderetreat.org/events/event/new

Soon, after we migrate to the new website, organizers will be adding a public event by submitting a Github pull request.

Cheers!

I have the same problem, I can't see the "Add" button any where.

Yes. I can't see the "Add" button (tried IE, Chrome and FF).

And the direct URL (coderetreat.org/events/event/new) does not work either :(

Apologies for the confusion. The events feature is disabled until we migrate to a static website hosted on Github where you will be able to create a new event via a pull request. In the meantime, if you wish to have your event promoted, please tweet about it, mention @coderetreat and we'll retweet.

Thank you for your understanding!
